FROM NEW BEGINNINGS TO AWARD WINNING WINES
The “country retreat” vineyard yielded its first vintage in 2006 with the labour of three generations from the Caiazza family, and a business was born.
Every vintage since has accompanied another chapter of family life; celebrations, milestones and happy memories.
One Man's Dream
Nurtured in the rich Barossa region, the vineyard was established in 1885. From a humble beginning, when Antonio Caiazza drove past the vineyard in 1992 and bought it as an excuse to escape from the city. From his Southern Italian upbringing, he understood the importance of good food, fine wine and a supportive network of family and close friends. Since then, our family has worked tirelessly with passion and dedication, striving to establish ourselves as one of South Australia’s small family-owned vineyards, wine growers and producers. We hope you enjoy these wines as much as we’ve enjoyed making them.
